Starting Pay $17.
00/hour plus $2.
00 PER HOUR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL FOR WEEKEND SHIFTS! Plus $500 HIRING BONUS PAID WITHIN 90 DAYS Hiring/Sign-On Bonus:
Employees hired as full-time or part-time are eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus; PRN hires are eligible for a $150 sign-on bonus.

What you would do as a DSP in Community Living:
Support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their individual pursuit of a fulfilling life by working as part of a team in a small residential home setting.
You would support residents with life skills and household tasks such as meal planning and preparation, laundry and light housework; as well as assist with personal care, administer medications, and provide transportation as needed.
When you would work:
We are interviewing DSP candidates to cover a variety of shifts (full-time, part-time or PRN) throughout the week and weekends.

High school diploma or GED2.
Valid driver's license with no more than 2 current points on record3.
Basic computer and keyboarding skills4.
Clean drug screen and criminal record (The Arc provides programs, services, and direct care to vulnerable adults)5.
The ability to successfully pass a drug screening6.
The ability to complete CPR, First Aid, Certified Medication Technician, and other trainings mandated by the Developmental Disabilities Administration and The ArcPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1.
Ability to lift/manipulate at least 50 pounds frequently with ability to lift, carry and/or exert force in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally.
2.
Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing and frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, and pushing required:
Including lifting a wheelchair and repositioning an individual.
3.
Ability to transfer individuals from a chair to vehicle, bed to chair.
Ability to position individual on a sling or Hoyer lift.
Ability to physically secure individual in a wheelchair to the van with tie-downs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
